Wayne F. Goodrich, Sr. September 09, 2005;.
WORCESTER-Wayne F. Goodrich, Sr., 66, died Friday, September 9th in St. Vincent Hospital after being stricken ill at home.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Rosemarie J. (Sloan) Goodrich; five sons, Wayne F. Goodrich, Jr. and his wife, Diane of Oakham, Jeffrey P. and his wife Stephanie Goodrich of Atlanta, GA, Kevin M. and his wife Laurie Goodrich of Rutland, Rick J. Goodrich of Worcester; three daughters, Debra and her husband Norman Saucier of Auburn, Cheryl M. and her husband, Michael Cox of West Boylston and Juliann R. and her husband Raymond Riendeau of N. Brookfield; his brothers and sisters, Nancy Goodrich with whom he was very close to, Fred Goodrich, Gail Haddad, Janis Mateiko, Pat Lebel and Bernard Goodrich; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A son, Michael F. Goodrich predeceased him in 1983.
He was born in Worcester the son of Frederick and Frances (Damon) Goodrich and lived here all his life. Wayne worked for Wyman Gordon then worked as a truck driver for Greif Brothers Containers for many years before retiring. Wayne was a member of the Elks Lodge #243, loved bowling and the New York Yankees.
The funeral will be Tuesday, September 13th from LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Monday, September 12th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. lindquistlundin.com
