Facts and Events
"My grandmother came from Ireland. She was very industrious herself and kept everyone else busy. At last she was on her death bed, and the minister was summoned to pray with her and prepare her for her last journey. He found her in bed with a large fleece of wool, some of which she held in her hands and was picking to pieces. ' Why Mrs. Ashley,' he said, 'still at work? Haven't you done enough?' She replied, ' I thought I would be picking a little wool while I was in the land of the living." ( As told by the late Robert C. Ashley) References
