In 1911 the following Stokes family, all except Cecilia members of the Church of England, lived at 112 Howth Hill, Howth, Dublin, a house with 11 rooms owned by Elizabeth Stokes; the entries were made in the absence of Lady Stokes; Jane Elizabeth (b. 1847, Co. Dublin, widow), son Aleyn Whitley (1881, Dublin city, married, Captain Royal Eng…), daughter in law Cecila Mary (1876 England, Roman Catholic), daughter Angel Helen (1883 Dublin city, single) and a housemaid (census).
