Jane Hamilton was born in 1721 in Virginia. She died about 1789 in Sullivan Co., Tennessee. Parents: William Hamilton and Catherine Graham. She was married to John Sharp in 1740 in Pennsylvania. Children were: Eleanor (or Elinor) "Nelly" Sharp, Thomas Sharp , John Sharp Jr., Mary Sharp, Elizabeth Sharp, Ann Sharp, Sarah (Sally) Sharp, Susan Sharp, Benjamin Sharp.
