    "Jane Dunlap Frame Robe died May 22, 1873. She and her daughter Maria lived upstairs in the first house east of the Presbyterian Church in Old Washington. Aunt Rie [Maria Laughlin] took me up an outside stairway to see her. She was a little old woman and wore a shoulder shawl and a black cap tied under her chin with ribbons" E. E. L.
