Jane Fleet was born in the spring of 1844 and baptised on 23rd March 1845 at Husborne Crawley in Bedfordshire, daughter of Ann Fleet, formerly Cook, and her husband William Fleet, an agricultural labourer. Sadly Jane died shortly after her baptism, being buried at Husborne Crawley on 5th May 1845, aged one.
