Charles Fleet was baptised on 4th December 1857 at Husborne Crawley in Bedfordshire, son of a lace maker named Ann Fleet, formerly Cook, and her husband William Fleet, a coachman and groom. Sadly Charles died shortly after his baptism, with his death registered in the first quarter of 1858, when he was said to be one year old.
