Obituary - November 7, 1901

Aunt Jennie Neal, living on Little Jordan, south of this city, died at four o'clock Sunday morning of dropsy, with which she had been in a critical condition for several weeks. The funeral services took place at ten o'clock Monday morning. The deceased was 77 years old and was one of the pioneer settlers of this vicinity. She was known by all in her vicinityof the county and all had a kind word for her. Her willingness and usefulness in sickrooms had taken her into almost every home of her acquaintance and had endeared her to all. Mrs Doug Baker of this city, and three sons survive her, also.
