Stuart Reunion 70 members of the Stuart family, desc of William Jackson and Sarah mcCracken Stuart attended the annual reuinion held at the summer camp of M/M Frank Dewberry near Wilmington. Dinner and supper were served and the usual routine of sports were carried out. James B. Stuart of New Castle, aged 84 was the eldest present and his weeks old gr-granddaugher Myrtle Frances Haggerty was the youngest.

Officers elected are: Sam Stuart of New Castle, Pres; George T. Callahan of Brookfield, VP; Mrs Edna Dewberry of New Castle Trea; Geneva Stuart of Sharon, Sec; the 1934 reunion will be held on the second Sat of Aug at the Dewberry Camp.

James B. Stuart, aged 92 years, died at the home of his son Samuel J. Stuart, Enon Valley, RD 2 this morning at 12:45 o’clock from infirmities of old age.

The deceased was born in Armstrong County on 29 Nov 1849, the son of Jackson and Sara McCracken Stuart (note wrong mother). He was a member of the Simpson Methodist Church.

Mr. Stuart was preceded in death by his wife Melissa Stuart who died in 1936. Surviving are 6 children: Mrs. Eva Harkless of New Castle, Samuel J Stuart of Enon Valley, Mrs. Myrtle McAllen of New Bedford, Seth R. Stuart of Warren, OH, Mrs Edna Dewberry of the Youngstown Road, and Mrs. Effie McAllen of New Castle. He also leaves 32 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and 2 gr-great grandchildren.

The body is at the Joseph B. Leyde Mortuary where friends may call until Monday morning at 11 AM. The body will then be removed to the Simpson Methodist Church where funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock. Rev Harry Johnson will be in chare. Internment will follow in Graceland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary this evening from 7-9 and Sunday afternoon from 2-5 and 7-9.
