Lease and release; for £45.6.8 sterling. 400 acres, part of pattent granted Charles Stevens 28 Sept. 1728... on the side of a hill by a small branch corner to Jno. Lightfoot, deceased... on a hill side corner to Richard Woolfolk... corner to Mr. John Stevens... north side of Cook's run and corner to said Lightrfoot... (signed) Chas. Stevens. Wit: Thos. Chew, Just Stephen Ik. Smith, John Stevens. 25 May 1738. bond of Charles Stevens of St. Mark's Parish, Orange County, to James Stevens of St. Mary's Parish, Caroline County. For £100 sterling.
