JAMES ALEXANDER SERVICE

A life long resident of Nassagaweya Township and born within a half a mile of his late residence, James Alexander Service passed away suddenly in Toronto General Hospital on Saturday November 6th in his 77th year.

His wife, Louisa Neilson, predeceased him fourteen years ago and three sons remain to mourn his passing, James A of Toronto; Chester on the original farm home and Archie in Nassagaweya Township. Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Service was a member of the United Church and in the absence of his minister, Rev. J. L. Blair, the funeral service was conducted by Rev. Mr. Moore of Waterdown, formerly of Milton.
