"Sellars Funeral This Afternoon - Services for Manson Community Resident at Geetingsville Church"
"Funeral services for James Thomas Sellars, 76, lifelong resident of Clinton County, who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Harshman, west of Manson, early Wednesday morning, will be held at the Geetingsville Presbyterian Church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. The Rev. O. L. Prentice will officiate and burial will be in the Geetingsville Cemetery.
Mr.Sellars was born near Geetingsville in 1858, a son of Charles and Martha Sellars. His first wife Linda Lauchner, died about 50 years ago. He married Rose Sanders about 42 years ago.
The Widow, four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Aughe of Frankfort, Mrs. Pearl Harshman of Manson, Mrs. Marie Moore of Frankfort, Flossie of Frankfort;three sons, William H., Chalmer, and Charles of Frankfort, survive him. He is also survived by a sister, Edna Harmon, of Conrath, Wis."

He married Malinda "Linda" Laughner/Lauchner on Jun. 10, 1883 in Clinton Co., IN. After she died, he married Rose Ella Sanders on Jul 23, 1889 in Frankfort, Clinton Co., IN. By Malinda, he had one son, Homer S. Sellers. By Rose Ella, he had seven children: Bessie Alice, Pearl Inez, Marie, Chalmer Rufus, Flossie, William H. and Charles Sellers.
