J. W. Pratt's Funeral. The funeral of J. W. Pratt, who died on Saturday was held at the family residence at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The services were conducted by Revs. W. M. Sapp and J. H. Pritchett and the pall bearers were L. N. Bass, Chas. McBee, A. M. Trimble, J. M. Barker, R. S. McKinney and S. P. Emmons. Mr. Pratt was one of Mexico's oldest citizens and left a large family, among who are J. D. and Wm. Pratt and Mrs. J. B. Botkin. He was formerly a member of the City Council of Mexico and was for years the leading blacksmith of our city Mexico Weekly Ledger (Mexico, Audrain, Missouri) 20 Febraury 1896. |
