Clarence C. Palmer married 14 Aug 1885 at White Lake,SD (not certain who this is, so just preserved it here because names and dates are very close). 1993 Info. from Dale L. Coulam, 126 Robideaux Rd, Apt. S., CA 95003 (phone = 408 688-6689) in Oct. 93 states marriage was 2 Dec. 1883 at Mitchell (Davison Co.), SD. That name is James Clarence Palmer who was newspaper owner and writer of White Lake, SD WAVE in 1913-14, had residence in Grand DeTour, IL, Mt. Vernon, IL (where I think he met wife Jessie Braucht), Plankton, SD, Mitchell, SD, Vermillion, SD and White Lake, SD. James' parents reported as Harvey Palmer and Almira Ferrin (Rev.War Vet. descendant). Info. in1920 Mitchell Twsp, Davison Co., SD Census. This family was methodist. James died at Moe Hospital (Sioux Falls, SD). See 1920 Census Mitchell Twsp., Davison Co., SD. See 1913 White Lake, SD city directory listing Clarence as publisher of White Lake Wave Newspaper. Palmer, Jessie F., Bryan and Ruth (notice children using middle names).
