James M. Page, of Clarion, died very suddenly Friday afternoon, April 10, 1908, about five o'clock, from an attack of heart disease with which he has been troubled for some time. He was able to be up to within a short time of his demise but showed clearly that he was not well. When the summons came he was resting quietly at home and passed away almost in an instant of time at the time above given. James M. Page was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A.K. Page, of Clarion. He was born October 5, 1857. He was united in marriage with Erdine May Reyner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Reyner, of Knox, November 10, 1898, who survive him with one son and one daughter. Mr. Page was engaged in business as a commercial traveler much of his life and in later years united with that the mercantile business. The deceased was a member of Grace Lutheran church of Clarion. Besides his wife and children he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. N.B. Rowley, Grafton, W.Va.; and Mrs. M.E. Longnaker, Wilkinsburg, Pa., and three brothers W.E.B.F. and George B. Page, all of Clarion. The funeral was held April 13th at 3:30 p.m., the services being conducted by Rev. J.G. Langham, the pastor of the deceased, and the interment was made in the Clarion cemetery. Among the out of town friends present were: Mr. and Mrs. N.B. Rowley, Grafton, W. Va., Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Longnaker, Wilkinsburg, Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Reyner and son Harry; Mrs. S.H. Reyner and Mrs. A.C. -{sic) Tylersburg, and Miss Sarah F. Reyner, Marienville.
