[edit] EstateWILL OF JAMES MORROW, 1797 Greenbrier County, Virginia "In the name of God Amen, I James Morrow of Greenbrier County inthe State of Virginia, Being sick and inform in body, but blessed be God of Perfect good and sound mind and memory, and calling to mind the uncertaintie of this transitory life, and that it is appointed for all men once to die. Do make and constitute this my Last Will and Testament in the mannerand form following, that is to say I commit my body to dust and to be buried decently at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named -- and my soul to God who gives it -- and as for worldly things which it has pleased God far above by Deserts to bestow upon me, I give and bequeath in the manner -- following. 1st that all my lawful debts together with my Funeral Expenses be discharged. 2ndly to my well beloved wife Mary I give during her life the Plantation I now live on, with all the Good and Chattels I possess; Reserving to my son James that part of the plantation that he has occupied for two years last pass, and to my grandson James that nowl ives with me I give one rifle gun and at the Decease of my afore said wife Mary, I allow the plantation to be equally divided between my two sons James and Samuel. And also at the decease of my wife Mary as afore said, I allow the Good and Chattels to be equally divided between my two daughters Agnes Craigg and Jane Wymer and my Grandson James Spencer, that now lives with me. Also, I constitute and appoint James Hanna Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, and I allow and declare this to by my Last Will and Testament in witness.
