James Moles was baptised on 24th December 1843 at Baldock in Hertfordshire, son of a straw plaiter called Maria Moles, formerly Bullen, and her husband Charles Moles, an agricultural labourer.

Sadly James died when he was just over a year old, being buried at Baldock on 12th March 1845.
