[Note: the only entry in this file is a card referring to the inventory of James Mealins of Boston, dated 9 Aug 1684, recorded Vol. 6, p. 213. Given the absence of James in the distribution of his mother's house, and the difference in date and residence from his father's inventory [Case 14971, of Charlestown, dated 2 of 2 mo 1680 [2 Apr 1680], it is believed this is the son's inventory, he being barely of legal age but thus needful of a probate. Note that Wyman, p. 664, says James m. Elizabeth --- and sold 1/5 of a house belonging to his mother, but that is apparently based on a misreading, as the deed found is for John and Elizabeth John's wife, not James, and since all ownership is accounted for without James, this must be an error by Wyman. (The relevant deeds are cited here as part of the proof of John's marriage.)]
