In 1871 John MacIndoe (b. 1823, wrongly transcribed as 1853 in ancestry-com, Churnside, Berwickshire), I P tondowner (?landowner), lived at Sardinia Pl., Cecil St., Govan, Glasgow, with sons James B. BOYD (b. 31oct1860 Blythswood, d. 19jul1882 Carrick Park, Ayr, res. 1861 West Regent St., Blythswood, 1871 Blair Athol, Kilmun, 1879 Rosslyn Terr., Kelvinside, 1881 Kirklee Gdns, Govan; Sarah’s parents were William Boyd (b.1818) and Sarah Dun Macindoe (1824-1899) (P. Binnie, vital records). James married (2) Catherine Hannah Clark THOMPSON (b. 7oct1866, d. 31jan1933 Park Circus, Glasgow), res. 1891 Grosvenor St., Hillhead (P. Binnie).
