(b.1854), Patrick B. (b.1855), James B. (b.1857) and visitor Patrick A. Black (b.1840 Glasgow, merchant) (census). In 1871 John MacIndoe (b. 1823, wrongly transcribed as 1853 in ancestry-com, Churnside, Berwickshire), I P tondowner (?landowner), lived at Sardinia Pl., Cecil St., Govan, Glasgow, with sons James B. (b. 1857, Duntocher), Patrick P. (b. 1856), art student, and Alexander D. (b. 1854), clerk (census). In 1881 Alexander D. MacIndoe (member of Glasgow Stock Exchange, b. 1854 Old Kilpatrick), wife Annie (b. 1854 Glasgow), Glasgow born children Ella D. (b. 1878), Louise D. (b. 1880) and 4 servants lived at 18 Belhaven Terr., Govan (census). In 1913 the proprieter at 18 Belhaven Terr. was Alexander D. MacIndoe, stockbroker (valuation roll). Alexander Dunn Macindoe married Annie Balloch 11jan1877 at Partick, Glasgow; he was accountant and stockbroker of 18 Belhaven Terr., Glasgow, son of John Macindoe, cotton spinner deceased and Eliza Jane, nee Black (deceased). Annie was of (illegible) Lodge, Dowanhill (?), daughter of Robert Balloch, (illegible)-merchant and Isabella, nee Brownrigg (scotlandspeople). The Times 7apr1926: Alexander Dunn MacIndoe, Belhaven Terr., Glasgow, stockbroker, of Messrs. A. Dunn MacIndoe and Co., a former chairman of Glasgow Stock Exchange, died 26nov (?1925), aged 71.
