J.B. Lauchner Obituary
Celebrating J.B. & Gina Lauchner J.B. "If I have a dollar, then everyone has a dollar". It's hard to count the number of times we heard J.B. say that. While he was proud of his success, he knew that it was secondary, if not temporary. "If I ever lose everything," he would say, "then I'll ask you to pick up the tab for me someday." Lessons we learned from J.B.: - Long meetings seldom accomplish anything. - The telephone was one of the worst inventions ever created. - If you need something from someone else, wear a suit to the meeting. If they need something from you, wear whatever you want. - Your occupation should never be more important than your family and friends. We were proud to have him as a family member, friend, and mentor -- and felt ten feet tall every time we were with him. He elevated us. He made us feel important. His passion for flying was shared and experienced with everyone he met. No one could show us the world quite like J.B. James Barrett "J.B." Lauchner, 49, born January 18th, 1956. Scottsdale businessman, pilot, devoted father, family member, and friend. Owner of Columbia Southwest.
