Allie and J. P. Kennedy's headstone (in Beason Cemetery, Red Bank, Chattanooga, Hamilton County, TN), there are a couple interesting findings. I did some web searching and think I found the meaning. There are 4 K's on the grave, one in each corner. This apparently stands for Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Also, there is a phrase on there "non silba see anthar." This is a phrase that is a mix of Latin and Gothic, meaning "Not Self, But Others" that is pretty much exclusively used by the KKK. It is a phrase that would gain admittance to a Klan meeting. Apparently the Knights of the KKK were an even stauncher group. It was formed on Oct 16, 1915, which falls well within their lives (1877-1931 and 1868-1924). Its first meeting was at Stone Mountain, GA, which is actually not very far from Chattanooga, TN. Check out: http://blog.kittanningonline.com/2011/04/non-silba-sed-anthar/
