Notes from Col. James Gallogly obituary from the West Point alumni magazine: Jim was called Art by his mother. His parents moved to Oregon City,OR when he was a year old and that's where he grew up,attending Oregon State University 1901-02.He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1907.He was stationed at Fort Barrancus,Fl. where he met his wife. He graduated from Atlanta Law School June 1913. He was stationed in France during World War I and served as Judge Advocate of the First Army Corps. After the war he served in Washington DC until he retired in 1922. After his Divorce in 1926 he moved to Miami,FL and worked as an investment counselor.
