James.......actually married a third time in 1892, in Minneapolis, MN. His third wife.....Wilhelmina K. Vogler ( Minnie). One slight problem, he did not divorce his second wife Catherine Simcox. James was 25 years older than Minnie and he died in 1912, she only found out that they were not legally married when she applied for Veterans benefits for their nine small children. James is buried in Minneapolis, MN.
