James H. Edwards Funeral services for James H. Edwards, 93, of Dickson, were held at 2 p.m.,Monday, Sept. 2, 1996, at the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Talbert officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery, Hustburg. Mr. Edwards died Sept. 1 at Horizon Medical Center. He was born Jan. 7, 1903, the son of the late Eddie Lee Edwards and Ida Jones Edwards.He was married to the late Almetta (Allie) Jackson. Mr. Edwards was a native of Dickson County and was a farmer and factory worker.He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughters, Jewel Blanchard, Rossie Burgess and Kathy Morzon, all of Dickson, and Margie Turner, Hammond, Ind. ; sister Alline Shepperson,Dickson; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren.
