1851 Drouin collection for Shefford, folio 7 (1239): [may not be the same James Blampin] James Blampin widower and Elizabeth Mary Ellis, spinster, both of the township of Shefford were married by license on the 24th of April 1851 by me; A. Whitten. [signed] James Blampin & Elizabeth Mary Ellis. [witness present] Henry Codlin? & Mary Foster.

  4. The parish in Devon is Sidbury, not Sudbury. It is immediately southwest of Farway Parish where you have found other Blampins.
