"There is not a confirmed cemetery record for the burial of James. However two lots with a total of several spaces were paid for by James Sr. and James Jr. There is an unreadable gravestone next to his wife Rebecca. I feel that this is Jame's burial place. There are also two empty spaces in the next Bell lot according to current records. If he is not at the unreadable gravestone he is no doubt in one of those "empty" spots.
Cemetery records are not 100% accurate, especially this many years ago. There was also a fire in 1870 that consumed a good portion of the cemetery records, no doubt obliterating the absolute proof of the location of the burial for James."
