An additional executor was Jacob Eberly, married to my grandaughter Polly, daughter of my son John Zent, dec'd. (Penn. Achives, 5th series, Vol. 7, p. 561) Jacob was incorrectly identified as serving in the Revolutionary War under Captain Michael Moyer, 1778-1779 in "American Revolutionary Soldiers of Franklin County, Pennsylvania". This is unlikely since he would have been 15 years old at the time. (This was his father, Jacob.) However, he most probably was the Jacob Zent that served in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1784 with Capt. Reams 6th Battallion, 3rd Class (Penn. Archives 6th series, Vol. 3, p. 541,548), and "Return of Male" 4th Compamy, 1st Battallion of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania in 1786 (Penn. Archives 6th series, Vol. 3, p. 359). Since Dauphin County was established in 1785 (previously part of Lancaster County), this would explain the different locations.
