This may be the Jacob Zent that served as a private from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in "A" Company, Infantry under Capt. John B. Moorhead in the war of 1812-1814. (Pennsylvania Archives 6th series, Vol. 8, p.901)
Saw on genforum your message of compiling 15 years of Zent genealogy from Pa and Ohio. I have been researching my Zent line of Pa, Oh, and In.. My Zent are German Descendant. Do you have records on the following Zents-that were Pennsylvania Dutch? What is your ancestor line?

I believe his father is Martin Zent b. 1800 in PA, but have no proof except census records which show movement of my Martin's siblings from OH, IN to MI.....Any help would greatly be appreciated.
