                Will reads:

" devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Margret Wingard the full equal one third part of all the probperty of which I may die siezed both real, personal and mixwd for her use and hehoof during her natural life. " subject to the provisions of the Item second, for my said wife, I hereby devise and bequeath the full one third of all said property of which I may die siezed to my beloved son John U. Wingard. "devise and bequeath to my beloved son Benjamin F. Wingard the full one third of all my said property that I may die siezed. "Subject to the provisions in Item second for my said wife, I devise and bequeath to my two grand-children Emma May Stauffer and Margret Edna Stauffer the full one third of all the said property that I may die siezed. "I hereby nominate and appoint John U. Wingard and Benjamin F. Wingard executors of this my last will and testament-------- dated and signed 10th day of Dec 1892, Jacob Wingard

Note: Heirs all lived in Bryan except Benjamin F. who lived in Montpelier as of date 18th April 1895 John had been in Cutbank Montana. Note: Daughter Mary had just died on December 8, 1892. Jacob made this will two days later. ________________________________________________

History and Biography of Stark County, OH

Lake Township.

Christian Wingard farmer, P O Middle Branch. In a family of 12 children born to Samuel and Lydia (Garver) Wingard, our subject is 4th. He was born in Stark County Ohio March 2, 1827 and passed his boyhood at home and when 10 years of age was placed at work for a farmer, and there remained until he was 16 years of age. He then learned the painter’s trade and after following it 2 years abandoned it for the trade of a carpenter; the latter trade suiting him much better, he worked at it for 8 years. In 1857 he moved on the farm he now occupies, has remained----. It 1854 he married miss Susanne, daughter of Geo E and Sarah Smith, who were among prominent citizens of Lake Twp. From the marriage there have been 6 children, 5 of whom are living, viz. Sarah J., Mary E., Lucy A., George and Susan. Mr. Wingard is a prominent Republican and has always identified himself with the same. (p. 949)

Page 841 Mr. Fink was married June 12, 1853 to Miss Sarah Wenger. Mrs. Fink is a dau. Of one of the oldest and wealthiest families of the township (Onaburg Twp.) 6 children: Susanna, Amanda, Isaac, Martin, Josiah, Samuel.

Page 845 John McLaughlin Osnaburg Twp. Mr. Mclaughlin was married to Miss Elizabeth Wenger, Aug 30, 1841. Miss Wenger was a member of one of the pioneer families of Stark County. They had 5 children.
