The relatives of Jacob Wielenga, who was taken to the insane asylum at Clarinda about three weeks since, received a telegram Sunday morning stating that he was dangerously sick, and his father, a brother and his wife left on the early train Monday morning for that place.

Another telegram came later on Monday stating that Mr. Wielenga had died.

The relatives returned yesterday noon with the body and the funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Christian Reformed church, of which denomination deceased was a faithful member.

The case is an especially sad one from the fact that he leaves a wife with six small children, for whom the deepest sympathy is expressed on every hand.
