Was dealer in building materials for several years at Sandoval, Illinois. His last years of active business was in the Gilcrest Lumber Company, Des Moines, Iowa. His home in Des Moines for many years has been at Twenty-eighth and Forest Drive. At the present date, 1923, he has been an invalid from apoplexy for several years.
