Jacob Kitt and his wife moved from York Co., PA to Stark Co., OH in March 1805. Prior to their departure they had two children. After arriving in Stark Co. OH they had 13 more children. In April 1848, he moved to Clear Creek Twp., Huntington, IN where he purchased 2000 acres of land.
