The children of Jacob and Rebecca are taken from the rootsweb chart of Donna Barraclough-Little. These children have a lot of Jackson heritage: their mother was a Jackson and her line extends all the way to John Jackson and Elizabeth Hallet. The children’s father was son of Elizabeth Jackson whose line extends up to John Jackson and Kesia Mott.

As of 7 Jan 2012 the memorial #18677974 at Find-a-Grave shows the photo of his tombstone with his given names 'Jacob S. Jackson' across the top and beneath that "son of Thomas and Elizabeth Jones, died Mar 5, 1894, aged 82 years." I've been in contact with the owner of the memorial to correct the written record as it currently says this is Jacob S. Jackson. A similar error has occurred with the memorial #18677890 of his daughter Elizabeth Turk Jones. The owner of the memorial responded that he would check into this as soon as he is able.
