[edit] Jacob Hendricks Family BibleJacob Hendricks was born on November 11, 1768 according to his own family bible, in Rowan County, North Carolina, to John and Mary (Welty) Hendricks. He married on June 21, 1792 in Rowan County, North Carolina to Franky Rowland, born February 3, 1776, daughter of Jacob and Mary (Keithley) Rowland. --Dlbradley1 21:06, 29 July 2008 (EDT) [edit] Land RecordsJacob purchased a part of Philip Hendricks' original farm in Montgomery County, Kentucky. He lived in the East Union area. Jacob had 200 acres located on Drake's Creek of Warren County, Kentucky surveyed for him on January 22, 1807. In 1808, Jacob moved to the Drake's Creek neighborhood in Warren County, Kentucky where another brother, Elder John Hendricks Jr. lived and purchased land from him. Jacob owned 233 acres in 1808 on Drake's Creek in Warren County as well as 2 horses. He was listed on the Warren County tax lists from 1808-16, owning between 183 and 283 acres annually. --Dlbradley1 21:06, 29 July 2008 (EDT) [edit] 1810 U.S. Kentucky CensusIn the 1810 census of Warren County, Kentucky, Jacob Hendricks is listed on p.277/768, line 15. His name appeared in the 1820 Simpson County, Kentucky census (formed in 1819 from Warren County) on p.20, line 21. He was listed in the 1830 Muhlenburg County, Kentucky census (formed from Simpson County). Jacob Hendricks died in July 1837, Muhlenburg County, Kentucky.
