From the records of Lewis Edward Howard of Topeka, KS, sent to Nick DeRose from Lloyd C. Howard. 

 These records are from the German Reformed Church known as "Old

Goshenhoppen". We must remember that in those earlier days there were only a few ministers serving many churches. Also, many families were involved in two churches. I believe that the Harsh family was Reformed and the Taub family was Lutheran. Also, note the discrepancy in the dates. This could be that the dates we have are Batismal dates and not Birth dates. 

 Jacob was a Revolutionary War Soldier.  He served from Bedford Co, OH-A.P.

His name is in the PA archives, but not found in the National Archives-A.P. (Also, I sent for a copy of his record at the National Archives, and was informed that they had no record.-E.H.)
