Family information from "History of Clinton County, Ohio" published 1915, pgs 871 and 872; Albert J. Brown, Supervising Editor. Also from Mrs Phillip's Brandenburg File in Lebanon, Ohio - DAR Magazine Volume 92 and census records.

(Medical):From "The History of Butler County, Ohio" published in 1882, page 424 states:"Morgan twp-below Okeana - 2 miles further down was a distillery owned by Jacob Brandenburg. Mr Brandenburg was scalded to death at his distillery more than 45 years ago. The old site is now on the farm owned by Jonathan Hall." (There is no proof at this time that this Jacob was a son of Aaron; however there is proof that he was not the son of Anthony.)

Immigration to the USA on January 4, 1766 from Rotterdam, Netherlands on the ship Sally to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and settled in Frederick County, Maryland.
