    Israel Doane, s/o Israel Doane and Ruth Freeman, b. 2 Nov 1701, prob. unm. He was a mariner. Wm. Paine appointed to settle his estate 21 Jan 1740. The appointment of an administrator for both Israel and brother Daniel in Jan 1740, both mariners, suggests the possibility of a shipwreck.
