William McMurtry and Alice, his wife of Bedford Co, TN appoints Henry Bushong of Barren County, Kentucky, attorney, for conveyance to John Summers of Barren County, Kentucky 200 acres on the head of Southforkof Skeggs Beaver Creek. William McMurtry and Andrew Watts who are assignees of said Summers and holds my bond by assignment from said Summers and he the said Henry Bushong is authorized to convey deeds as mentioned above to the said McMurtry and Watts agreeable to my bond.

Regimental, the8th of October at John Howards and the Court of Assessments the 1st Monday in November at the same place and Compa ny muster the first Saturday in April, June, August and September at William Hays old place.
