Appears she was sister to Rev. Thomas Muston of Wykin, and afterwards, Brinklow. Came to the country with some of her children after John Farmer's death.

After her second husband Thomas Wiswall died in 1683, she moved to her son Edward's house in Billerica. Edward was appointed her guardian on 7 Apr 1685 and she died at his house on 21 May 1686. (Taylor)

History of Billerca, Massachusetts, with a Genealogical Register has: "Mrs. Isabella Wiswall was wife of John Farmer, of Ansley, in the county of Warwickshire, and came to this country with some of her children, after his death, which occurred prior to 1669."

The book Genealogical Memoir of the Family by the Name of Farmer who Settled in Billerica, Mass. has the death date as May 21, 1686. This could be the old date before the new calendar.

    John Farmer of Ansley m. Isabella Barbage of Great-Packington of Warwickshire. "He died before the year 1669, and Isabella, his widow, came with some of her children to New England, a few years after this period, and married Elder Thomas Wiswall, of Cambridge Village, now Newton, who died 6 December, 1683. She died at Billerica, 21 May, 1686, at an advanced age."
