Her uncle Edmund Grindall, Archbishop of Canterbury, left in his will dated 8 May 1583 . . "to my nieces Dorothy, Katherine, Elizabeth and Isabell, the daughters of Elizabeth Woodhall, my sister late deceased, £50 to each." He also left her "to my niece Isabell Wilson, one other bowl, double gilt, without a cover."

Isbel Woodhall was the wife of [Rev.] William Wilson, D.D., Rector of Rector of Islip, Oxfordshire, and Cliff (at Hoo), Kent, Chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Canon of St. George's, Windosr, Prebendary of Rochester, Kent, Chancellor of st. Paul's. [2]

The date and place of Isabel's death is not known; however, she must have died after the birth of her last child, around 1597 and before her husband married his second wife, Anne Webb. An estimated date of death is likely around 1600; and Isabel may have died at Rochester, where her remains are interred, or at Windsor, Berkshire, England. where her husband was canon at St. George's Chapel.
