About Isaac Townsend
The parentage of Isaac Townsend is in question. Some researchers have placed him as a son of Elihu Townsend, who was born sometime between 1702-1707, but other researchers, including Mr. Harry Macy, a long-time Townsend researcher, believes that Isaac is more likely a son of Daniel5 Townsend (Daniel4, Daniel3, Daniel2, John1). More research is necessary to prove his parentage.
