Obituary published in the Evangelical MessengerS1

SHUPP.--Isaac Shupp, brother of Rev. N. Shupp, of the Oregon Conference, was born in Crawford Co., O., Aug. 18, 1835, and died very suddenly, of apoplexy, May 29, 1899, in Marion, Ohio, aged 63 y., 9 m. and 11 d. On Sept. 6, 1857, he was married to Miss Catherine Stoze. One child--a daughter--was born to this union. Bro. Shupp was bereaved of the companion of his youth fifteen years ago. In 1893 he entered into the marriage relation with Miss Eliza Ulsh, who survives him. Bro. Shupp was a faithful member of the Evangelical Association and liberally supported the Church with his means as well as otherwise. We have every reason to believe that he died in the Lord. Funeral services by the writer, assisted by Revs. W. H. Bucks, Eckerman, Wonder, and Otto Spreng.
