In his will, proved July 12, 1745, he mentions his wife and two widowed daughters. Issac lived on Gap Lane (62-72 Central Street in Salem after his father turned over the property to him. Issac in turn sold the property March 25, 1739, to Captain John Gardner. The land was town property in 1739, and the South Church of Peabody, decided to build a schoolhouse there. In 1857, the Bowditch School was built on the land.
