Isaac is a very common name in the Ostrander Family. There are at least three all born in the 1790's living along Talbot Road in or near Middleton Township. Evidence points to this lineage, but it is by no means proven with absolute certainty. Much of the published data for the Ostrander and Cohoe families has difficulties because of a lack of recorded source information. This includes the "Ostrander Big Book" and Ross McCurdy's "Ostrander Descendants of John and Christiana Cohoe Ostrander of Crowland and Bayham TWps, Ontario: A Work in Progress To The 7th Generation."
