Isaac was a sergeant in the First Texas (U.S.) Calvary unit. He enlisted on March 26, 1864 in Brownsville and was honorably discharged onMarch 25, 1865 in Baton Rouge. He was attached to Hamilton's Body Guard Texas (U.S.) Calvary, Company E. 1st Regiment, participating in several skirmishes in Louisiana and East Texas.

Isaac also served for a short time as a Texas Ranger. He was a Private serving under Capt. Peter Tumlinson, enlisting Nov 12, 1859 and wasdischarged Feb 10, 1860.

It is unkown whether they are boarders or family members.
