    "upon the petition of James Buchanan and Elizabeth his wife, the said Elizabeth being a daughter of Isaac Ferree, late of Lancaster County, deceased, stating that the said Isaac Ferree died in Lancaster County intestate about the year 1820 leaving as his heirs and legal representatives may children and grandchildren namely

    7 grandchildren they being the children and lawful issue of Rachel, a daughter of the intestate who was intermarried with Henry Rutter and died before her father the intestate - to wit - Isaac Rutter who resides in Dauphin Co.; Mary who is intermarried with Jacob Lenimon (?); and resides in Dauphin Co.;Leah Jane Rutter, Eliza Rutter, Joel Rutter and John Rutter, the said Leah, Eliza, Joel and John being minors and having for their guardian their father Henry Rutter who resides with said minors in Dauphin Co.

    3 children of the late Joel Ferree, deceased, and grandchildren of the intestate, the said Joel having died before his father, namely Mary Ferree residing in York County; Susan intermarried with John Rowe and resides in Dauphin County and Rebecca who is a minor and has for her guardian the said John Rowe.

    2 children of Susan who was intermarried with John F. Bowman and died before her father the said intestate, Josiah Bowman and Maria Bowman, both residing in Dauphin County.

    Another tract in Lykens township held under patent to Isaac Ferree dated April 17, 1795 and containing 82 3/4 acres
