"29 Isaac Deming, (son of Jonathan 9) born 26 July 1688 in Wethersfield, Conn.; died in 1741 in Wethersfield. Isaac Deming received from his father a half interest in the latter's home-lot, and appears to have lived in Wethersfield all of his life. No record has been found of his marriage or of his death, but on Nov. 23, 1741, his estate was inventoried, and his widow, Lydia, was made administratrix in 1745. As he was assessed for taxes in 1740, it is probable that he died in 1741. A widow Lydia Deming died 21 Dec. 1781, aged 85 years. She was probably widow of Isaac, but the name of her family has not been discovered. The names of his children are gathered from the distribution of Isaac's estate and other sources. The names of only two, Elias and Abigail, appear upon the baptismal records of the Wethersfield Church. Elias deeded land in Wethersfield to his brother Eleazur in 1758, after which he disappears from the records, and no further trace of him has been found. William Nott and his wife Lydia deed to Anne Deming in 1774 land belonging to the estate of her father, Isaac Deming."
