SUDDEN DEATH OF ISAAC BEARD Jan 24, 1894 Isaac Beard, who lived on the banks of Wilson lake, in Richland township died verysuddenly Tuesday evening last week. He was taken sick in the afternoon about 3 oclock while at work in the field. He managed to get home before his condition became dangerous. He grew rapdly worse and expired about 5 o'clock. Dr. Webster had been sent for, but did not arrive until after the death occured. He had been subject to attacks of apoplexy and it was this that caused his death. Mr. Beard was about 43 years of age. He leaves a wife and five or six children to mourn his untimely and sad death. He was a good man and citizen and his loss is lamneted by all who knew him. The funeral occured Thursday and was conducted by Rev. Steward, of Larwill. The remains were laid to rest in the Presbyterian cemetery in Troy township. Col. City Post
