    "152. Isaac4 Theophilus3 Barnabas,2 b. 1740, in Milford. Conn., Parish of Amity. He m., 24 Dec., 1766, Philene Pardee, of Derby. He lived, say his grandchildren, in Woodbridge (Amity), Bethlem and Derby, Conn. He d. 4 Jan'y, 1799; his w. Philene, July, 1826. He was one of the original signers, Nov. 3, 1789, of the paper organizing the Congregational Church, in Seymour (joining Woodbridge). He was a miller, killed by accident in his own grist mill, on the west side of the Naugatuck, on Little River. He was, says W. C. Sharpe of the Seymour Record, a devout and studious man, reading his Bible while his mill was running."
